We can not have processed meats often but was “jones’n” for a ham steak. I chose Frick’s ham steak because the pink color of the meat was so much more appealing than the washed out competition, AND Wow what a great flavor! It will be our ham of choose from now on! Delicious! Also LOVE your sense of humor about your name- It’s Frick’n awesome!
Steve Crawford –
My name is Steve. In 1989, I married a woman who lived in Washington, MO. We moved in to a mobile home community right next to a Frick’s Production facility off 8th Street. I never tried a Frick’s Bone in Ham Steak. Recently, I had to move in with my mother Age 76. She has advanced COPD. She is on Oxygen and does not get the opportunity to go shopping. She is in LOVE with these Ham Steaks. I don’t know if dad just did not want them or what but since he passed, NO one can go to the store without stopping by Walmart in Houston, MO without picking up at least two of those Delicious Frick’s Bone in Ham Steaks. They make my mom happy when there is not much to be happy about. I have family and friends who live in Washington. I have a Friend and relative that work at Frick’s. but they live too far away for me to go see them. My mom can’t be left alone that long and it is about 170 miles away. So, I will just keep on going to Walmart and paying the 4.75-5.75 a Steak. Thanks for making my mothers meals happy. She goes through about 5 a week.
Frick’s Quality Meats –
Thanks for sharing with us, Steve! So sorry to hear about your mother’s COPD, but it’s great to know she enjoys our ham steaks! We’re happy we can provide some joy through tasty food.
Bobbie Brandel –
This was the best ham steak we have had in I do not know how long. Thanks for the quality, thanks for the great taste. I will be looking for this brand from now on. This is how ham is SUPPOSED TO TASTE!!
Hal Rhoads –
Having been raised on country ham, city ham has just never measured up. However, Frick’s bone-in ham steaks really stand out. Your major brand competitors (we all know who they are) just don’t have a clue.
