Product Details
Jowl bacon is most commonly used as a flavoring in dishes but, just like traditional bacon that comes from the belly, it can be sliced and fried. If you’ve never had it, give it a try! With its distinctly different texture, you just might prefer it over the bacon you’re used to.

I just picked this up at my local HEB in Austin, TX. I had intended to grab some cubed ham to make some Charro beans but grabbed this instead. I’m very excited about making the beans because I get 2 Frick’s hams a year, and it is without a doubt, the best ham you can buy in the USA, in my opinion. I’ve been all over the world, and all over the country, but Frick’s meats stand in a new category of excellence.
Keep up the good work, and do please try to expand into more HEB’s, with a wider product line.
