Raw Production Associate - 2nd Shift

Food Production Associate - PART-TIME

Part-Time:  3 days a week based off employee’s availability.

Starting Pay: $17.00 – $19.00/hour, depending on shift and department.

Part-Time Associates support our Raw, Ready-To-Eat and Boxing departments on both 1st and 2nd shifts. The Associate is responsible for performing various positions on each production line, such as slicer, bagger, product loader, peeler, buttoner, padder, scale operator, packer, stacker, and labeler.

The job requires standing and the ability to operate machinery and other production equipment. Must practice safety, cleanliness and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and be able to lift production materials weighing up to 60 lbs. Our plant is temperature controlled, so work is performed in a constant cool, 35-45°F environment.

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of assigned maintenance projects in a safe and timely manner. While coordinating with production schedules and department supervisors, maintenance techs are called upon to install, maintain, and program advanced manufacturing equipment including robotics, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.

The job requires standing and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Technicians are expected to constantly inspect, repair, remove and replace machinery and other production equipment. Our plant is temperature controlled, so work is typically performed in cool, 45-degree rooms and damp conditions, but must occasionally be conducted in a temperature range of -5 to 100 degrees both in and out of the building.

Keeping the plant and the equipment therein in good, working condition is vital for not just productivity, but also for safety, so it’s very important that maintenance techs are reliable – maintaining good attendance and working overtime as needed. Strong troubleshooting skills are also a must to identify probable causes and determine the best course of action to resolve mechanical or electrical issues.

5 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred, and Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5S training are a strong plus. Strong skills in the areas of electrical, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, diagnostics, tube bending, pipe threading, use of power tools and mechanical skills are required.

Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description:

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of materials, finished goods, and supplies. This role coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage activities while leading and developing a team of warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with production, maintenance and logistics teams to support on-time deliveries, accurate inventory management, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Education & Experience Required:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role required.
  • 1-year of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing or other regulated environments preferred.
  • Proficient with inventory or ERP systems (SAP, Ross, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid forklift & yard truck certifications, or ability to obtain certifications. Strong understanding of OSHA and food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, or BRC).

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping materials and products.
  • Assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to warehouse employees.
  • Ensure all materials and finished goods are accurately recorded in inventory management systems.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and food safety standards.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet shipping schedules and material needs.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with monthly or annual physical inventories.
  • Review and approve shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor equipment use and maintenance; ensure proper operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling tools.
  • Train team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and proper material handling.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

  • The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time position located on-site at our Washington, Missouri, location. Expected hours of work are generally from 5:45 am – 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday and as needed on weekends to satisfy customer needs.

Travel

  • Travel is not regularly expected but may occasionally be required. Employees are reimbursed for pre-approved company expenses and gas in their personal vehicles.

  • Stand: Must be able to remain standing for long periods

Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Job Description:

The QA Manager works closely with the Director of Food Safety & Product Development to directly oversee the activity of the QA department and monitor food safety as well as monitoring the quality practices of 300 production associates. The QA Manager will staff and maintain a food safety team focused on product safety, quality and reliability for Frick’s products and processes.

Education & Experience Required:

  • BS. degree in food technology, food/meat/animal science, food safety or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) field or related field required with supervisory experience.
  • HACCP certified or HACCP specific training.
  • Through knowledge of food safety including USDA regulations, sanitation SOPs, equipment sanitary design, GMPs and GFSI auditing standard.
  • Experience with tracking and trending data analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Essential Functions:

Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure all HACCP, GMPs, sanitation preventive controls, supply chain preventive controls, and all other prerequisite food safety standards are met and routinely updated according to USDA and company requirements.
  • Work with USDA inspectors on a daily basis to meet all regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for on-going maintenance of the Food Safety and Crisis Management Plan. Must be able to identify deficiencies and implement new strategies.
  • Oversee pre-operative sanitation review function to ensure monitoring, corrections, and verification.
  • Oversight of pathogen environmental monitoring program.
  • Lead/oversee all food safety and product audits conducted by USDA, third-party agencies (GFSI), and customers.
  • Ensure complete traceability of incoming raw materials and finished product while managing lot code tracking and written recall program.
  • Collecting and shipping samples for sales department.

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Lead the development and execution of food safety and quality programs to support the organization’s goals.
  • Implement and maintain quality checks & product records in Red Zone software.
  • Maintain detailed records of product quality checks, process controls, procedures, internal audits, etc. for regulatory and audit compliance.
  • Ensure all QA checks are correctly completed and all non-compliances found have had the correct action taken and signed off.
  • Track and manage product returns and hold processes.
  • Review & track customer and consumer feedback. Respond to consumer safety and quality concerns.
  • Identify and analyze issues, defects, and other opportunities; recommend and facilitate solutions.

Team Leadership & Communication

  • Responsible for the leadership, training/development, and motivation of QA Team.

  • Maintain updated risk assessments (biological, chemical, physical hazards) for all production processes.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • This position is based between an office and cold manufacturing environment, with up to 50% of the daily activities taking place in the production areas. Production area temperatures range from 28-45 degrees Fahrenheit, employees are exposed to loud noises.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the facility.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform inspections in production and storage areas.
  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hairnets, or lab coats as needed.
