Director of Supply Chain
Full Time: 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., M-F and available after hours for emergency situations. Minimum of 40 hours per week. Occasional nights and/or weekend shifts may be required to meet production needs.

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Job Description: The Director of Supply Chain will lead the development, execution, and optimization of all supply chain activities for the plant. This role ensures that procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution functions align with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, industry expertise, and a proven ability to drive efficiency and cost savings while maintaining quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions:
Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership
- Work closely with production scheduling, demand planning and VP of Sales to create and communicate detailed weekly, monthly and annualized schedules to manage optimal inventory levels, cash flow requirements and sustain a 98% or better customer order fill rate.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy to support business growth, efficiency, and sustainability goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain initiatives with organizational goals.
- Participate in Commodity Team Meetings with executive management team to discuss current markets, future markets, and inventories. Short- and long-term strategies for the company are placed from the information generated on these meeting.
- Work closely with operations, sales, marketing, customer service, accounting, demand planning, research development and upper management to fulfill customer’s needs at the lowest possible cost.
- Lead capacity planning discussions with management team.
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Oversee procurement of raw materials, ensuring high quality, competitive pricing, and reliable supply.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Monitor commodity markets to mitigate risks associated with price fluctuations.
Production Planning & Inventory Management
- Optimize production scheduling to balance demand, plant capacity, and inventory levels.

Supervisory Responsibilities & Travel:
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the direct supervision, development and evaluation of the Production Scheduler, Senior Buyer, Logistics Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, and indirectly to the respective departmental employees.
Travel is not regularly expected but occasionally required. Employees are reimbursed for pre-approved expenses and fuel for their personal vehicles.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- The Director of Supply Chain will conduct their daily business on-site. Duties performed will be primarily in an office setting with frequent visits to the warehouse where temperatures range from 18-30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Part-Time Associates support our Raw, Ready-To-Eat and Boxing departments on both 1st and 2nd shifts. The Associate is responsible for performing various positions on each production line, such as slicer, bagger, product loader, peeler, buttoner, padder, scale operator, packer, stacker, and labeler.

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Job Description: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the completion of assigned maintenance projects in a safe and timely manner. While coordinating with production schedules and department supervisors, maintenance techs are called upon to install, maintain, and program advanced manufacturing equipment including robotics, PLCs, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
The job requires standing and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Technicians are expected to constantly inspect, repair, remove and replace machinery and other production equipment. Our plant is temperature controlled, so work is typically performed in cool, 45-degree rooms and damp conditions, but must occasionally be conducted in a temperature range of -5 to 100 degrees both in and out of the building.
Keeping the plant and the equipment therein in good, working condition is vital for not just productivity, but also for safety, so it’s very important that maintenance techs are reliable – maintaining good attendance and working overtime as needed. Strong troubleshooting skills are also a must to identify probable causes and determine the best course of action to resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
5 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred, and Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and 5S training are a strong plus. Strong skills in the areas of electrical, plumbing, welding, hydraulics, diagnostics, tube bending, pipe threading, use of power tools and mechanical skills are required.
EHS Program Manager

- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or food processing; meat industry experience preferred.

- Preferred: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), CIH, CHMM, or equivalent.
Job Description: The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of all environmental, health, and safety programs at Frick’s. This position ensures compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA) and promotes a proactive safety culture focused on continuous improvement, risk reduction, and employee well-being.
Essential Functions:
Health & Safety
- Lead safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis; track corrective actions to completion.
- Develop and implement new site-specific safety policies, procedures, and training programs (including but not limited to: Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication, PPE, Confined Space Entry, Ergonomics, Operating Procedures, Emergency Plan & Response). Maintain programs to ensure up to date and compliant; deliver trainings.
- Prepares and distributes safety program aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment and makes presentations when necessary.
- Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs) and risk assessments for plant operations.
- Coordinate workers compensation injury reporting, including communicating with the company doctor and following up on employee appointments
- Serve as the plant’s subject matter expert for OSHA compliance and internal company safety standards.
- Partner with operations and HR to manage injury and illness cases, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs.
- Lead and mentor the facility’s safety committee.
- Schedules and administers Forklift Safety Program.
- Update audit documents for current month, prepare, lead, and participate in external audits.
- Enters and maintains all plant safety statistics data in reporting system, compiles and submits various Health & Safety reporting, including but not limited to OSHA 300, Near Miss, and First Aid logs, external communication logs.
- Analyze data for trends, draw conclusions and use data to make informed, strategic planning decisions
- Responsible for coordinating and leading annual tests such as hearing, fire drills, tornado drills

Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including air emissions, wastewater discharge, hazardous waste, and chemical storage.

Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe handling of materials, finished goods, and supplies. This role coordinates shipping, receiving, inventory control, and storage activities while leading and developing a team of warehouse associates. The Warehouse Supervisor works closely with production, maintenance and logistics teams to support on-time deliveries, accurate inventory management, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Education & Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role required.
- 1-year of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing or other regulated environments preferred.
- Proficient with inventory or ERP systems (SAP, Ross, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid forklift & yard truck certifications, or ability to obtain certifications. Strong understanding of OSHA and food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, or BRC).
Essential Functions:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, staging, and shipping materials and products.

Quality Assurance (QA) Manager

Job Description:
The QA Manager works closely with the Director of Food Safety & Product Development to directly oversee the activity of the QA department and monitor food safety as well as monitoring the quality practices of 300 production associates. The QA Manager will staff and maintain a food safety team focused on product safety, quality and reliability for Frick’s products and processes.
Education & Experience Required:
- BS. degree in food technology, food/meat/animal science, food safety or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of experience in Food Safety Quality Assurance (FSQA) field or related field required with supervisory experience.
- HACCP certified or HACCP specific training.
- Through knowledge of food safety including USDA regulations, sanitation SOPs, equipment sanitary design, GMPs and GFSI auditing standard.
- Experience with tracking and trending data analysis.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Essential Functions:
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all HACCP, GMPs, sanitation preventive controls, supply chain preventive controls, and all other prerequisite food safety standards are met and routinely updated according to USDA and company requirements.
- Work with USDA inspectors on a daily basis to meet all regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for on-going maintenance of the Food Safety and Crisis Management Plan. Must be able to identify deficiencies and implement new strategies.
- Oversee pre-operative sanitation review function to ensure monitoring, corrections, and verification.
- Oversight of pathogen environmental monitoring program.
- Lead/oversee all food safety and product audits conducted by USDA, third-party agencies (GFSI), and customers.
- Ensure complete traceability of incoming raw materials and finished product while managing lot code tracking and written recall program.
- Collecting and shipping samples for sales department.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Lead the development and execution of food safety and quality programs to support the organization’s goals.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- This position is based between an office and cold manufacturing environment, with up to 50% of the daily activities taking place in the production areas. Production area temperatures range from 28-45 degrees Fahrenheit, employees are exposed to loud noises.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time throughout the facility.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs, and perform inspections in production and storage areas.
- Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, hairnets, or lab coats as needed.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, and inspection instruments; ability to detect visual quality defects.
- Hearing ability sufficient to detect alarms, communicate effectively, and work in a production environment with moderate noise levels.
- May require standing or walking on hard surfaces for up to 8–10 hours per shift when performing audits or inspections.
- Ability to travel between multiple facilities or to supplier sites as needed.
Hours:
1ST SHIFT: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2ND SHIFT: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
3RD SHIFT: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
MONDAY – FRIDAY (OCCASIONAL SATURDAY)
