Our gourmet ham comes from a single, solid muscle. Being fully cooked, the ham could be served warm or cold with the convenience of it being pre-sliced and ready to go on sandwiches.
Made in a facility free of Wheat, Crustacean Shellfish, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Milk, Tree Nuts, Soybeans, and Sesame.

Preparation Instructions
IN THE OVEN
Remove ham from packaging and place in a baking pan. Add package drippings and 1/4 cup water in the pan, then cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil to retain moisture. Preheat your oven to 325°F and bake for 30 minutes per pound or until heated through. Remove ham from oven. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
IN THE MICROWAVE
Add ham and 1/4 cup of water to a microwave-safe covered dish. Cook for 6-8 minutes per pound or until heated through. Let rest for 5-10 minutes.

Bought a case of 6 super disappointed in the size 3 of them are under 1.5 lbs 2 are just at 1.5lbs and 1 is the size I thought they would be …. Not worth $110.00 will not order from here again

Unfortunately, with our gourmet ham being a single muscle, variable weight product, some will be smaller and others larger, depending on the size of the animal they came from. In general, they average about 1.5 lbs. in size – the weight we list on this product page – but we cannot guarantee that all six in a case will be that large. Ideally, the total ham weight per gourmet ham case will average out to just under or over 9 pounds. If the total weight of the products you received is notably under that, please email us at hello@frickmeats.com so we can make it right.

Love this gourmet ham slices. They are perfect for a sandwich or a breakfast or just right for a little extra meal in between meals. I have been buying this for about a year now I’m 79 and this is just right except for one thing.. I just noticed that you should consume within 5 days. Why?

We’re glad you enjoy our gourmet ham, and that’s a great question! Although an unopened ham can stay refrigerated until the USE/FRZ by date on the label, spoilage due to germs and rancidity occur much more quickly once the ham is exposed to air. Some spoilage cannot be detected by sight or smell, which is why we can’t recommend keeping the ham for longer than 5 days after the initial vacuum seal has been broken. This is true of not just our products, but all lunch meats.

Best OTC ham I have ever eaten! Lean, juicy, flavorful, wonderful slightly smoked flavor and moderate sodium content. It would be great if Frick made a lower sodium sodium ham but then it probably wouldn’t taste so good!!
