I originally bought Frick’s sliced ham in Texas at HEB. I bought it because of the price and it looked good in the package. After the first package I wouldn’t buy any other brand because the quality and the price comparison to other brands was superior. I’m back in Tennessee now and I’m going to have to find a local store that carries it because I’m not going back to the big name companies after having Frick’s. After reading the About section of your website I can see how your products are superior to the others. I’m looking forward to trying more of the Frick’s meats in the future. I’ve been buying this for lunch, and it’s damned good ham!! I was partial to boars head tavern ham, and this is similar (just as good if not better!) You can tell this is smoked and crafted by artisans that do this for a living. The hickory flavor comes through with a subtle sweetness. The other review saying after 2 days it was mushy doesn’t even sound right. Maybe there was a puncture during shipping because the ham keeps very well. I’ve had zero issues, enjoy!!
