Wendi Gregory –
I have just purchased my first Frick’s Boneless ham. It appears to be already sliced, though the label doesn’t say so like the smaller half hams. Is it pre-sliced as I hope?
Frick’s Quality Meats (Verified Buyer) –
We’re sorry to say that our whole boneless ham is not pre-sliced; the lines that make it look sliced come from the netting the ham cooks in. Since the ham is not sliced, it should keep nice and juicy if warming in the oven, whereas a sliced ham is easier to dry out. We also like allowing individuals to carve it into thicker or thinner slices depending on their preference.

My mom has purchased Frick’s Whole Hams for many Thanksgiving dinners and they are the best. We can not find them here in Illinois at any store so I will be ordering online.
Mike B –
I’ve bought many hams over the years and when my local market Hanniford carries Frick’s smoked hams during the holidays I buy them as they are one of the best smoked hams I can find. Their see thru packaging shows the pride of their quality product. I’m pulling one out of freezer today as we need our smoked ham fix…

I sell Fricks Tavern Ham in my deli and its amazing. I do not like ham so when I say it’s amazing, I mean it. I was also wondering if it’s kosher? I have a few customers that have asked about kosher meats and I would like to offer them fricks.
Frick’s Quality Meats –
We’re happy to hear you enjoy our ham, Christy! But we’re sorry to say that no pork product is kosher because pigs are not kosher animals. Although pigs have a split hoof, they do not chew their cud and therefore do not meet the requirements to be considered kosher by certain religions.
